Joining Hands with the World to Accelerate Taiwan’s Next-Generation Geothermal Development

Amidst the global surge toward Net-Zero transformation, geothermal energy has become a cornerstone of Taiwan’s energy strategy due to its stability and low-carbon profile. TIGC 2026, themed "Accelerating Taiwan’s Next-Generation Geothermal Development," aims to drive international collaboration and knowledge sharing through multi-level dialogues across policy, technology, and industry.

Core Highlights:

Four Strategic Pillars: Covering geothermal promotion policies, international experience sharing, innovative applications of next-generation technologies (EGS, AGS, SGS), and power plant operational practices.
Geothermal Solutions Exhibition: Connecting domestic and international vendors to showcase cutting-edge equipment, creating a premier platform for technical exchange and industrial matchmaking.
Traditional Geothermal (CGS) Workshop: Focusing on the three stages of drilling, engineering planning and operation, providing a space for discussion and promoting in-depth integration between domestic and international practices.

We invite partners from government, academia, and industry worldwide to deepen international cooperation and advance Taiwan’s geothermal development. International companies are welcome to participate in conference sessions, exhibition booths, serve as speakers in the Conventional Geothermal System (CGS) Workshop, and join the field trip to foster industrial exchange and collaboration.
